| The Binghamton Black Bears (33-8-7) lost to the Port Huron Prowlers (24-20-6) in Port Huron by the score of 4-1. With the Prowlers Connor Foley in the penalty box for tripping and Binghamton on a power play, Vincent Dekumbis scored a short-handed goal to put the home team up 1-0. In the 2nd period, the Prowlers jumped out to a 2 goal lead with a goal at the 32 second mark off the stick of Liam Freeborn. Jake Vaughan scored 2:15 into the 3rd period to put the Prowlers up 3-0. To kill the shut out for the Prowlers, Dakota Bohn scored short-handed, actually it was a 5-3 for the Prowlers but Bohn stole the puck int he d-zone and skated in all alone to get the Black Bears only goal of the game. Tucker Scantlebury put the exclamation mark on the game with the Prowlers 4th goal of the game with 2:32 left to go in the game and leaving the only game of the season between these two teams at 4-1 Prowlers win. |
