The Binghamton Black Bears (36-10-7) defeated the Watertown Wolves (18-30-5) in Watertown in a close game, 5-3. The Wolves get the first goal of the game as Carter Thornton tipped in a goal in front of Black Bears net-minder Connor McAnanama to take a 1-0 lead. With the Wolves Jacob Black in the box for hooking, the Black Bears tie the game after a Gavin Yates power play goal with 3:28 left to go in the 1st period. Dan Wieber scored his 5th goal of the season, this goal a power play goal put the Black Bears up 2-1 1:41 into the 2nd period. The former property of the Black Bears, Michael Mercurio scored the game tying goal for the Wolves with 6:38 to go in the 3rd period.
