The Binghamton Black Bears (9-1-0) defeated the Indiana Sentinels (0-9-1) on Military Appreciation Night at the Arena in front of a sell-out crowd by the score of 6-1. The Black Bears start the scoring early again with Zachary Desmarais's first goal of the season, scoring the games first tally at the 3:01 mark of the game. CJ Stubbs scores the Black Bears second goal of the game with just 34 seconds left to go in the period. The Sentinels score in the 2nd period at the 6:41 mark of the middle period as Bohdan Zinchenko skated in through the neutral zone and then untouched into the offensive and beat McAnanama with a good snipe. The Black Bears take their two goal lead back off the stick of Austin D'Orazio scoring his first professional goal at the 12:29 mark on the period. Gavin Yates after a fight in the 2nd period, scored the Black Bears fourth goal of the game at the 9:28 mark of the final period making this a 4-1 game. Mac Jansen made this a 5-1 game with 8:29 left to go in the period scoring his 8th of the season. To top off the scoring in the game, Gavin Yates scored his 2nd goal of the game and of the third period to put this game out of reach at 6-1 on the power play with 7:36 left to go in game. |
