The Binghamton Black Bears (8-1-0) defeated the Indiana Sentinels (0-8-1) at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday night by the score of 4-1. With Loik Plouffe in the penalty box for cross-checking, the Black Bears get the 1-0 lead when Ivan Bondarenko scores the first goal of the game with 3:49 left to go in the first period. Just 6:46 into the second period the Black Bears took a 2-0 lead with CJ Stubbs third goal of the season. The Sentinels scored their first goal of the game in the 3rd period after a turn over in front of the Black Bears net-minder, Wyatt Friedlander off the stick of Ethan Esposito making this a 2-1 game. The Black Bears get a goal at the 10:10 mark by # 10, Emerson Emery making this a 3-1 game. Mac Jansen scored his seventh goal of the season, an empty net short handed tally with 1:05 left to go in the period, as the Black Bears won 4-1 over the Sentinels. |
