The Binghamton Black Bears (12-2-0) defeated the
Danbury Hat Tricks (5-7-2) in Danbury on Saturday night by the
score of 5-1. The Black Bears score the games first goal of the
game, as Gavin Yates scores his 6th league leading
power play goal at the 11:29 mark of the 1st period. A tic-tac-toe
play with Dan Stone and Mac Jansen allows Jansen to
score his 14th goal of the season with 5:56 left to go in the
period. Austin Thompson who was speared earlier in
the period, scores the Black Bears 3rd goal of the game with 2:04
left to go in the period. The Black Bears score with 7:02 left to go
in the 2nd period to give the Black Bears a 4-0 lead off the stick
of Dan Wieber, scoring his first goal of the
season. The Hat Tricks get on the score-sheet after a Drew
Welsch goal with 9:49 left to go in the final period.
Austin Thompson scored his 11th goal of the season
with 8:15 left to go in the game giving the Black Bears their 4 goal
lead back. |
