The Binghamton Black Bears (17-2-0) defeated the
Port Huron Prowlers (11-9-0) Saturday night at the Visions
Veterans Memorial Arena by the score of 3-1. The Prowlers
start the scoring in this game with a weak goal that trickled
between the legs of Dominik Tmej at the 4:54 mark of the 1st period
off the stick of Reggie Milette. With
Austin Fetterly in the penalty box for a double minor for
high-sticking, the Black Bears tie the game with an Austin
D'Orazio power play goal with 8:59 to go in the first
period. Then with Alex Johnson in the box for
Unsportsmanlike Conduct, the Black Bears get another power play goal
from a defenseman as Dan Stone cashes in with 2:53
to go in the 1st period making this a 2-1 game. With Timothy
Organ in the penalty box for High-Sticking, Zac
Sirota scored his 3rd goal of the season, a power play goal
making this a 3-1 game with 2:47 left to go in the period. There was
no score in the 3rd period as the Black Bears and Prowlers shared
some power play opportunities with the Black Bears getting the win,
3-1. |
