MINI RECAP

The Binghamton Black Bears (24-2-0) defeated the Watertown Wolves (9-14-2) on New Year's Eve by the score of 9-1 extended their winning streak to 15. Gavin Yates gets the Black Bears on the score-board first with a goal at the 6:05 mark of the 1st period scoring his 15th goal of the season. The Black Bears take a 2-0 lead in the game with 2:58 left in the 1st period off of Gehrett Sargis 4th goal of the season. Nick Swain scores his 8th of the season with 31 second left to go in the period making this a 3-0 lead for the Black Bears. With Ross Zachary and Ryan Gill both in the penalty box for penalty box, the Black Bears score a 5 on 3 power play goal off the stick of Gavin Yates at the 10:14 mark. With Gill still in the box serving his minor for delay of game, Zac Sirota scored the Black Bears 2nd power play goal making this a 5-0 lead for the Black Bears with 9:29 left to go in the middle period. Kyle Stephan made this a 6 goal lead for the Black Bears scoring his 4th goal of the season with just 3:58 left to go in the second period.
