The Binghamton Black Bears (20-2-0) defeated the
Danbury Hat Tricks (9-10-3) in the 8th meeting between the
two teams by the score of 4-2. The Black Bears get on the
score-sheet first with Zac Sirota's 4th goal of the
season just 1:28 into the 1st period. With the Hat Tricks
Alexander Legkov in the penalty box for hooking, CJ
Stubbs scored his 14th goals of the season making this a
2-0 just 10:11 into the game. The Black Bears take a three to
nothing lead with a goal from the Captain Tyson Kirkby
who scored his 6th goal of the season just 4:08 into the second
period. The Hat Tricks get on the score-board with a Jonny
Ruiz goal 9:25 into the middle period. Ruiz then scored the
Hat Tricks goal just under four minutes later tightening the game to
3-2. With the Hat Tricks net-minder Kyle Penton
pulled for an extra attacker, CJ Stubbs scores the
Black Bears fourth goal, the insurance goal with 43 seconds left to
go in the game securing the Black Bears 20th win of the season and
11th win in a row. |
