| The Binghamton Black Bears (2-0) defeated the Carolina Thunderbirds (0-2) in Connor McAnanama's 4th shutout of the playoffs by the score of 1-0. The first period saw no scoring, three successful penalty kills for the Black Bears and a feisty start to this game between the two teams. Zac Sirota gets the Black Bears on the board first with his first playoff goal of his career 7 minutes into the middle period giving the Black Bears a 1-0 lead. Like the 1st period the 3rd period was left scoreless and the Black Bears win the game 1-0, take a 2 to nothing lead in the Finals and have a chance to win their 2nd straight Commissioner's Cup on Friday night in Binghamton. |
