| The Binghamton Black Bears (29-4-1) defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves (5-26-3) in the third game of the three games in three nights to sweep the series with the Sea Wolves. The Black Bears take an early lead in the game for the third straight game as Zac Sirota scores his 8th goal of the season just 1:37 into the first period. Jesse Anderson then scored his 7th goal of the season just 41 seconds later to make this a 2-0 lead for the Black Bears. The Black Bears score late in the second period via a Donald Olivieri rebound that was tapped in by Scott Ramaekers scoring his 9th goal of the game with 4:10 left in the period making this a 3-0 lead. With the Sea Wolves Andrew Stacey in the boxing for hooking, the Black Bears finally break through and score a power play goal with 3 seconds left in the period off the stick of Chris Mott. The Black Bears again score early in a period with Dan Stone scoring his 5th goal of the season just 54 seconds into the third period giving the Black Bears a 5-0 lead. After coming back from a suspension, Andrew Stacey scored the Sea Wolves 1st goal of the game at the 11:15 mark of the 3rd period making this a 5-1 game. Blake Keller then scored 16 seconds later to put this at a 5-2 game which was not enough as the Black Bears win their 29th game this season. |
