| The Binghamton Black Bears (22-4-1) defeated the Motor City Rockers (11-14-1) in Fraser, MI by the score of 4-2 Friday night. Scoring first for the Black Bears, Jesse Anderson scored his 4th goal of the season 2:53 into the first period giving the road team a 1-0 lead. Keeping with the defensemen theme, Dakota Bohn scored the Black Bears second goal of the game 11:13 into the first period. CJ Stubbs scored the Black Bears 3rd goal of the game while Gavin Yates was in the box for holding, scoring the Black Bears 10th short-handed goal of the season. With Austin Thompson in the penalty box for roughing, TJ Sneath tipped in a shot scoring the Rockers first goal of the game 13:31 into the second period. Gavin Yates sent a beautiful pass to Camron Cervone who sent the puck passed Trevor Babin scoring his 2nd goal of the season and giving the Black Bears a 4-1 lead 3:50 into the 3rd period. The Rockers get the game to a 4-2 contest after scoring their 2nd power play goal of the game off the stick of Jameson Milan, while Jesse Anderson was in the box for roughing, the time of the goal was 13:24. The Black Bears hold off and win the game on the road, 4-2 and improving to 22-4-1. |
