| The Binghamton Black Bears (17-3-1) defeated the Dashers Hockey Club (1-15-3) in a six goal 3rd period which included a feisty 3 fights 13:43 into the final period. The Black Bears got on the score-sheet first with Cameron Clark's 13th goal of the season after receiving a pass from Kyle Stephan at the 14:45 mark of the 1st, putting the Black Bears up 1-0. Neither team could score through the 2nd period but it only took 34 seconds into the third period for the Dashers to tie the game at one goal a piece off the stick of former Hat Tricks forward, Bohdan Zinchenko. This is when the Black Bears then went on a six nothing run in the third period starting off with a Donald Olivieri goal at the 3:13 mark of the final period. Tyson Kirkby scored the next two goals of the period just 5:31 into the third period on the power play, then 2 minutes and 15 seconds later to make this a 4-1 game. However the Black Bears were not done as Kyle Stephan scored at the 11:44 mark, followed up by The Don Father scoring his second goal of the game at the 13:12 mark of the game. The Black Bears 7th and final goal of the game came from Zac Sirota who scored with 2:53 left to go in the game. The Black Bears earn their 17th win off of 7 goals, 4 fights which included Connor McAnanama dropping the gloves for his first professional goalie fight. |
