| The Binghamton Black Bears (15-3-1) defeared the Dashers Hockey Club (1-14-2) by the score of 6-2. The Black Bears controlled the beginning of the game and were paid off with a Scott Ramaekers goal 10:22 into the first period, scoring his 3rd goal of the season. CJ Stubbs then scored his second goal of the season, just under two minutes later putting the Black Bears up by two over the Dashers. Austin Thompson then got the 1st line on the score-sheet with the Black Bears third goal of the game with 2:41 left to go in the first period giving the Black a 3-0 lead going into the first intermission. Just 55 seconds into the second period the Black Bears got their fourth goal of the game from their Captain Tyson Kirkby. Jhuwon Davis broke up the shutout for Dashers scoring their first goal 3:23 into the middle period. The Dashers best player Brandon Stojcevski scored the Dashers second goal of the game 1:55 into the third period putting this game at a 4-2 Black Bears lead. Scott Ramaekers scored his 2nd goal of the game at the 8:56 mark of the 3rd giving the Black Bears a 3 goal lead again. Kyle Stephan completed the scoring with 2:57 left to go in the game with an unassisted goal securing a 6-2 win, the Black Bears 19th win of the season. |
