| The Binghamton Black Bears (0-1) lose game 1 to the Port Huron Prowlers (1-0) in Port Huron, Michigan as the Prowlers shut out the Black Bears 3-0. The Prowlers get the first goal of the game and the series 11:20 into the first period off the stick of Tyler Fox, his second goal of the post-season. The teams go through the middle 20 minutes with no score, leaving the Prowler leading 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. The Prowlers get their insurance goal just 6:46 into the final period with a Bobby Price goal putting the Black Bears down 2-0. Price then scored an empty-net goal with 1:15 left to go in the game giving the Black Bears their first playoff loss since, May 1st of 2023, a loss to the Hat Tricks eliminating from the playoffs in the 2022-23 season. |
