| The Binghamton Black Bears (2-0) defeated the Watertown Wolves (0-2) by the score of 4-0 advancing to the Empire Division semi-finals. With Domenic Della Civita in the box for holding, the Black Bears scored the first goal of the game a man up as CJ Stubbs gave the home team a 1-0 lead 2:20 into the middle period. After a face-off win, a pass to the point and a shot that came in, Blake Tosto scored the Black Bears second goal of the period at the 7:59 mark. The Black Bears scored their third unanswered goal at the 14:23 mark of the third period from the Captain Tyson Kirkby making it a 3-0 game. With Watertown's net-minder, Breandan Colgan for the extra attacker, Donald Olivieri scored an empty netter with 16 seconds left to go in the game making this a 4-0 game and a 2 game sweep of the Wolves. |
