tagged for a hooking penalty and in the box, the visiting Hat Tricks
got on the score sheet first with a Brandon Stojcevski

Fletcher was credited with a goal to tie the game up at 1 a
piece where the puck went up over the back of the net and off the
back of net-minder, Connor McCollum. Tyson
Kirkby took a feed from Austin Thompson as
he was driving in front of the net and was able to lift the puck up

passive defense, Kyle Heitzner scored to get this
game tied at 3 goals apiece. At the 19:16 mark, Donald
Olivieri put the Black Bears down a man with a holding
penalty putting the Hat Tricks on the man advantage. Going into the
overtime period, the Black Bears were short-handed but killed the
penalty for 20 seconds until Jonny Ruiz got tagged
with a slashing penalty. The Black Bears then peppered McCollum with
9 shots on goal, but the two teams went to the shoot-out. In the
three round shoot out, it was the Hat Tricks, Connor Woolley
with the only goal in the shoot-out, taking the 2nd win after
regulation for the Hat Tricks this weekend vs. the Black Bears. |
