| The Binghamton Black Bears (7-1-3) were defeated by the Watertown Wolves (3-5-0) in Watertown by the score of 5 to 1, handing the Black Bears their first regulation loss of the season. The Black Bears got the first goal of the night as Nikita Ivashin scored his 99th goal in Binghamton Hockey History as he entered into the Watertown zone not defended giving the Black Bears the 1-0 lead. The Watertown Wolves opened up their scoring in the 2nd period at the 2:50 mark just as the first Binghamton penalty kill ended as Marc Bottero scored to tie the game at 1. Trevor Lord the leading goal scorer for the Wolves put his team up by one with a goal just 1 minute and 34 seconds later. Former Black Bear, Aleksandr Gamzatov scored his first goal of the season at the 9:53 mark to put the Wolves up by 2 goals. Vladislav Pavlov scored the Wolves 4th goal of the night, as this goal chased Nolan Egbert from the game with 8:03 left in the 2nd period. The Black Bears had a 5 minute major power play but did not score on it and then the Watertown Wolves scored their 5th goal off the stick of Ivan Sergeev with 7 minutes and 8 seconds left in the game. |
