CJ played in 53 games during the 2025-26 campaign, 10 more than the previous year. He led the Black Bears with 39 goals and finished second on the team in points with 97. In November, Stubbs went 20-straight games with a point. He also led the team with five short-handed goals and nine game-winning goals. He tied Nick Swain for the team-high in hat tricks with two. In the playoffs last year, CJ continued to be a dominant forward for Binghamton. Stubbs finished tied for the team-high in points with Ivan Bondarenko at 11. He once again, led the team in scoring with six goals, also playing in all nine postseason contests. He was voted Playoff MVP for the first time in his career, securing his fourth professional-hockey championship (Roanoke & Columbus) and second with the Black Bears.
