Cheechoo Lathlin set for return August 11, 2026 |

July 13, 2026 - by Brooks Hill - Binghamton Black Bears News Release BINGHAMTON- The Binghamton Black Bears, 3x Commissioner Cup Champions, are proud to announce that Cheechoo Lathlin has re-signed for the 2026-27 season. Cheechoo is the second returning player to sign ahead of training camp this fall. Cheechoo joins Ivan Bondarenko as members who have re-signed for the 2026-27 season from last year's Commissioners Cup squad. Lathlin played in 33 games during the regular season last year and finished with a +13 rating. He finished the regular season with on 16 PIMs and one goal and four assists. In the playoffs, Cheechoo played in four games and tallied one assist in Game 3 of the Commissioners Cup Finals against the Pee Dee IceCats. Lathlin is the second defenseman added to the roster for training camp this October, along with rookie Marquise Brown. Congrats Cheechoo, and welcome back! Season Tickets are on sale now!
