Bondarenko concluded his first year in Binghamton with a buffet of accolades. He set the single-season assist record with 77 and finished for the team-high in points with 98. He was voted the Binghamton Hockey Booster Club Player of the Year. During the regular season, Ivan had 15-games with 3+ points, and 20-straight games with an assist. Finally, Bondarenko was named FPHL Forward of the Year by the league office. In the postseason, Bondarenko continued to lead the way for the Black Bears. A true distributor of the puck, Ivan had 11 assists across the nine playoff games for the Black Bears, including a three-assist night in Game 3 vs the Pee Dee IceCats. Bondarenko was the only player for the organization to appear in all 65 combined games this season en route to winning his first Commissioners Cup in his first season.
