BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Kaspars Daugavins scored on a power play just 6:38 into overtime to help the Binghamton Senators stave off elimination in the Atlantic Division Semifinals with a 5-4 victory over the Manchester Monarchs in Game 5 at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Wednesday night.

Manchester still holds a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven first round series as it shifts back to New Hampshire for Game 6 on Friday at 7 p.m. and Game 7, if necessary, on Saturday.

Ryan Potulny scored twice in the third period for the B-Sens, netting his team-leading sixth and seventh goals of the playoffs.

Cody Bass and Bobby Butler also scored for Binghamton, while Andre Benoit notched three assists.

Manchester's Ray Kaunisto netted a pair of goals for the Monarchs, while Viatcheslav Voynov and David Meckler also found the net.

Robin Lehner made his series debut in goal for Binghamton, appearing in his first professional playoff game. Lehner turned away 30 of 34 shots faced en route to the victory. His counterpart Jeff Zatkoff stopped 37 of 42 shots faced, falling to a record of 1-2 in the series.

Game 6 is set for Friday night at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. The puck drops at 7 p.m. Fans can listen live on 680 WINR-AM or Team 1200 (Ottawa) beginning 30 minutes before the game for Countdown to Face Off with Grady Whittenburg, voice of the B-Sens.
