Nikita was also selected as Rookie of the Month twice this season for the months of November and January.
Kyle Powell has been a scoring force from the blue-line for the Black Bears this season and was selected as one of the two Defenseman of the Year for the 21-22 season. Powell heading into the final weekend of the season leads the league in assists with 65, throw in 9 goals for an impressive 74 points. This marks the fourth time Powell has won the Defenseman of the Year award in the FPHL, the previous 3 times were while he played for the Watertown Wolves. Powell was also selected the First Team All-Star Squad for his efforts.
Andreas Johansson, Owner of the Black Bears and the Wolves was awarded the Founder's award and Binghamton Black Bears radio play-by-play broadcaster Rob Lippolis was named Broadcaster of the Year.
Tyler Gjurich, who has had another impressive season in the FPHL joined the Black Bears a little late into the season but has 53 goals, 43 assists and 96 points, just a point shy of Ivashkin, has been named to the Second Team All-Star Squad. With two remaining games in the season, Gjurich could end up being the top goal scorer and point getter for the Black Bears.

His 17 wins, 13 losses and 1 over time loss cemented his leadership between the pipes for the Black Bears in his first professional season.
