| The Binghamton Black Bears (27-12-4) broke
their 5 game losing streak with a 4-3 overtime win over the Columbus
River Dragons (32-6-4). The Black Bears saw goals from Bret Parker
in the first period, two goals from Austin Thompson who scored in
the 2nd and 3rd period before the Captain, Jake Shultz scored the
overtime game winning goal. The Black Bears and the River Dragons
both took an OT win in this 2 game series with both teams earning 3
points and will meet one more time, in Binghamton on April 1st. The
Black Bears continue their road trip with two games vs. the Carolina
Thunderbirds starting next Friday with a puck drop of 7:35 PM. |
