| The Binghamton Black Bears (27-14-4) lost
again to the Carolina Thunderbirds (33-9-2) for the 2nd straight
game in a row and all 5 games in the series as they dropped the
finale 9-5 down in Winston-Salem. Unlike last night when they lost
5-0, the Black Bears were able to score 2 in the 2nd period from
Austin Thompson and Jake Shultz. In the 3rd period they were able to
score 3 goals from Austin Thompson again and then Gavin Yates scored
2 in a row in the latter half of the period to get the score to a
7-5 deficit but the Thunderbirds Captain scored his 2nd of the night
with 19:34 to go to seal the victory. Binghamton heads back to NY
State to play in Elmira next Friday night before 2 games at home on
Saturday and Sunday. |
