| The Binghamton Black Bears (27-13-4) were
shut out for the first time this season by the Carolina Thunderbirds
(31-9-2) by the score of 5-0. Thunderbirds net-minder, Mario
Cavaliere saved all 32 shots the Black Bears put on him while Talor
Joseph for the Black Bears saved 40 of 45. The game got physical
near the end of the 3rd period with 2 series of altercations as the
two teams combined for 145 PIMS total for the whole game which saw 6
players ejected from the game. The two teams will meet again
Saturday night at 6:00 PM for the 5th and final meeting between the
two teams. |
