| The Binghamton Black Bears (17-6-2)
battled back after a very bad first 4 minutes and 3 seconds of the
game where the Black Bears and rookie net-minder Jeremie Forget
allowed 4 goals to the Port Huron Prowlers (16-11-3) in a 6-5 loss.
The Black Bears were able to get the game tied at 5 goals a piece
with goals from Tyler Gjurich who scored 2 in the game, Gavin Yates,
Mathieu Boislard and Nikita Ivashkin. However this was not enough as
Port Huron's Dan Chartrand scored a short handed goal at 7:03 mark
of the 3rd period giving the Prowlers the 6-5 edge which they held
to the end of the game. Riley McVeigh who entered the game in the
1st period for Forget stopped 39 of 41 shots in the 54:28 of his
time in the game. Binghamton heads on the road to face the Watertown
Wolves (11-13-0) this Friday night. |
