| The Binghamton Black Bears (17-5-2)
defeated the Port Huron Prowlers (15-11-3) soundly Friday night at
the Arena setting a franchise record of 13 goals, 8 in the first
period alone in the 13-2 win. Bret Parker had 6 points in the game,
scoring a Hat-Trick, while Nikita Ivashkin and Tyson Kirkby both had
2 goals in the game. Rounding out the scoring for the Black Bears
saw Gavin Yates, Jake Shultz, Josh Newberg, Mac Lewis, Austin Lewis
and Geno DeAngelo score in this the first of a two game tilt vs. the
Prowlers. Riley McViegh saved 24 of 26 shots for his 8th win of the
season. The two teams will meet again tomorrow night at 7:00 PM at
the Arena. |
