| The Binghamton Black Bears (19-7-2) lost
to the hot Elmira Mammoth (10-16-3) Friday night in Elmira to the
score of 6-5. Elmira has now won their last 5 games and have not
lost in 2023. Couple of highlights for the Black Bears was the 600
Pt scored by Tyler Gjurich who scored the Black Bears 2nd goal of
the night, as well as Chad Lopez in only his 3rd game for Binghamton
scoring his 4th and 5th goals. Nikita Ivashkin who was injured last
week, played in tonight's game and scored a goal while Gavin Yates
scored a short-handed goal in the 3rd period to round out the goal
scoring for the Black Bears. Riley McVeigh had an off night only
saving 28 of 34 shots earning only his 4th loss of the season. The
Black Bear have a tough game tomorrow as they head to Danbury to
face off against the Empire Division leading Hat Tricks on Saturday
night. |
