| The Binghamton Black Bears (24-7-2) once
again defeated the Delaware Thunder (1-30-2) with 8 goals, however
the Thunder fought back a little more with 6 goals in the game.
Nikita Ivashkin and Tyson Kirkby both scored 2 goals each accounting
for half the Black Bears production. Mac Lewis, Josh Newberg, Chad
Lopez and Tyler Gjurich rounded out the scoring in the game. Riley
McVeigh got the start in net for the Black Bears tonight and saved
34 of 40 shots, earning his 12 win of the season. Nikita Ivashkin
with his 2 goals tonight is now 12th in Binghamton Hockey goal
scoring history with 87 goals. The Black Bears now head on the road
for a pair of games vs. the Port Huron Prowlers, Friday and Saturday
night. |
