| The Binghamton Black Bears (23-7-2) defeated the Delaware Thunder (1-29-2) by a score of 8-2 at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena on Friday. Chad Lopez scored the Hat Trick in the game who now has 9 goals in 6 games played with the Black Bears. Austin Thompson also scored 2 goals in the game followed by Nikita Ivashkin who scored 1 goal but assisted on 3 himself, along with Donald Olivieri scoring a goal on the power play and assisting on 2 goals. Tyler Gjurich saw himself back on the score sheet with a goal, while Colan Fitzgerald had two assists as well. Rookie net-minder, Talor Joseph started tonight’s game saving 27 of 29 shots earning his first win as a Black Bear. The two teams will be back on the ice in Binghamton on Saturday night with a puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM. |
