| The Binghamton Black Bears (25-8-2) came
back after last night's loss to the Port Huron Prowlers (20-15-3)
and defeated the Prowlers in Michigan, 3-2. The win also secured the
Black Bears 2nd consecutive ticket into the FPHL playoffs which will
begin in late April. The Black bears got goals from Josh Newberg in
the 1st, Nikita Ivashkin in the 2nd and the game winner came off the
stick of Austin Thompson on a late power play. Talor Joseph was
solid in net saving 37 of 39 shots and winning his 2nd game for the
Black Bears. The Black Bears will now travel back to Binghamton and
prepare for home game vs the Danbury Hat Tricks who they battle for
the top spot in the Empire Division. |
