| The Binghamton Black
Bears (34-15-5) defeated the Delaware Thunder (8-43-3) for the 10th
time this season winning this game 8-5. The Black Bears had 3
players score 2 goals each with Donald Olivieri scoring 2 goals on
the power play, Gavin Yates had 2 and Jestin Somero also chipped in
for 2 goals on Saturday night in Delaware. Connor Smith continued
his scoring way with a power play goal for the Black Bears while
face off specialist Josh Newberg scored a short-handed goal for the
Black Bears 8th goal of the game. Talor Joseph started in net for
the victorious Black Bears and saved 18 of 22 shots in the first two
periods. Jeremie Forget then came into the game and saved 7 of 8
shots in relief for Joseph. The Black Bears will play next Friday
night in Elmira vs. the Mammoth. |
