| The Binghamton Black
Bears (3-1) lost game 2 to the Danbury Hat Tricks (3-1) in the
Empire Division final Saturday night in Danbury, CT by the score of
5 to 2. After a scoreless 1st period, the Hat Tricks scored the
first two goals of the game off the sticks of Michael Marchesan and
Jonny Ruiz. The Black Bears did get one back in the 2nd period with
a power play goal from Donald Olivieri to make it a 2-1 game. The
Hat Tricks went back up by 2 goals with an early 3rd period goal
from Jacob Ratcliffe. The Black Bears got an extra attacker goal at
the 17:34 mark of the 3rd with a goal from Mac Lewis, but the Hat
Tricks then scored 2 unanswered empty net goals to win the game 5-2.
Talor Joseph lost his first goal of the playoffs, but saved 32 of 35
Hat Tricks shots. Game 3 and deciding final game will be played on
Monday night in Danbury. |
