Peter recorded 88 goals and 98 assists for 186 points in 155
career games with the Rangers. He achieved AHL career highs in
goals (48), assists (53) and points (101) during the 1995-96
season and a career high 171 penalty minutes during the
1996-97 season.
Peter was the New York Rangers'
first-round pick (24th overall) in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
His AHL career spanned 620 games with eight different teams.
During the 1998-99 season, he was named the AHL's most
valuable player as a member of the Providence Bruins.
Natives of Port Jefferson, N.Y., the Ferraro brothers were
also three time AHL All-Stars. The brothers both represented
the Binghamton Rangers at the 1997 AHL All-Star classic in St.
John, N.B. |
