--Playoff picture: The Binghamton Rangers and Baltimore Skipjacks open their best-of-seven quarterfinal playoff series at 7:35 p.m. Friday at the Arena.  The Rangers (44-30-6) closed the regular season with a 5-2 victory against the Skipjacks Sunday night at the Arena.

--What city is this?:  Rangers defenseman Jeff Bloemberg and right wing Steven Rice were recalled by the New York Rangers Sunday morning.  It marked the third time in eight days that Bloemberg has been recalled.  If Bloemberg played for the Rangers in their game with the Penguins it would be his ninth game in 12 days with either New York or Binghamton.
