Multi credentialed with the AHL, Binghamton Senators and multiple hockey teams, Bob Howard brings experience and professionalism to his work in the hockey media world.

Where to start? In 1998 Bob decided after listening to pro-wrestling radio shows on the internet, podcasts, that he could do it better and with more passion then some of the ones that were being produced. So in late 1998, the Extreme Wrestling Audio Show was created. A year and a half later, HurricanRadio was created to replace the EWAS.

However, the show became too successful and rising bandwidth costs forced Bob to close down something he truly loved that opened the door for his interviews with childhood hero’s Bobby the Brain Heenan and Curt Hennig.

After 6 months of not doing the show, his wife Kimmie, pleaded with him to bring his voice back to the air waves, within weeks Binghamton Hockey.net was born and in 2004 the Power Play Post Show debuted. After 11 years, over 1,000 interviews with players, coaches, broadcasters and writers, Bob closed the book on broadcasting but continues today with writing in this column, Wrap Around and continues to update Binghamton Hockey.net.
