April 26, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net Commissioner's Cup - Semifinals - Empire Division - Game 2 The Binghamton Black Bears and the Port Huron Prowlers will play game 2 of their Semifinals match-up tonight in Binghamton at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena with a puck drop at 7:00 PM. The Prowlers lead in the series 1 game to nothing with Game 2 tonight and Game 3 scheduled tomorrow if necessary. Last night in Port Huron, the Prowlers defeated the Black Bears in a 3-0 shut out. This was the first shut out the Black Bears have faced this season through the regular season and the playoffs. Rookie out of Trine University, Bobby Price scored two goals in the game, while his Trine University teammate Tyler Fox scored the first goal of the game and game winner. Reid Cooper saved all 32 shots sent his way for his 3rd win of the playoffs. The Prowlers are now the only team in the league to notch 3 wins vs. the Black Bears between the regular season and playoffs. The Black Bears have not lost two games in a row this season and always respond well after a loss on the road, then coming back home to play at the Arena.
