The Black Bears and the Prowlers met each other six times in the regular season, with the Black Bears winning 4 of the 6 games. The last time the teams met was over four months ago, also at the McMorran Arena. That weekend, the Black Bears took game 1, 7-3 and the Prowlers took game 2, 8-6. The Black Bears defeated the Wolves in a sweep, last weekend to advance, while the Prowlers defeated the Danbury Hat Tricks in 3 games to advance to this weekend vs. the Black Bears.
