April 18, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the Watertown Wolves will meet for the third straight season in the 1st round of the Commissioner's Cup playoffs with Game 1 tonight in the north country. The Black Bears and the Wolves have met 8 times this season with Black Bears having a record of 7-1-0 vs. the Wolves. The only loss was the home opener of the Black Bears on October 12th. Otherwise the Black Bears have won all 4 games played in Watertown between the two Empire Division teams. The Wolves are 1-0 in the playoffs already this post-season with a win over the Motor City Rockers in Tuesday's Wildcard match-up in which they took a 4-2 in, also in Watertown. The Black Bears will likely roll Connor McAnanama out for this game to face-off against Breandan Colgan, who the Black Bears saw March 21, 2025, a 6-1 win fir C-Mac in that game. Players to look out for in this match-up are Trevor Lord, Davide Gaeta, Trevor Grasby and Ludlow Harris Jr, who did score the game-winner on Tuesday vs. the Rockers.
