The Black Bears have won all previous 9 meetings between the 1st place Black Bears and the 6th place Venom in the Empire division. Tonight's game is all about pride for both teams as this game has no impact on the playoffs for the Black Bears. Head Coach Brant Sherwood talked on the Power Play Post Show about possibly resting a player or two, including the Captain, Tyson Kirkby. The Black Bears will not know their opponent for the playoffs until after Tuesday's meeting between the Watertown Wolves and the Motor City Rockers, which will be played in Watertown.
