April 3, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net Gavin Yates scored his 20th goal of the season, giving the Black Bears the early 1st period lead in the game. Austin Thompson scored his 35th and 36th goals of the season and added an assist for a 3 point night. Blake Tosto scored the game winning goal, his 5th goal of the season and more importantly played in his 15th game of the season and is now eligible for the playoffs. Both CJ Stubbs and Tyson Kirkby assisted on two goals each. CJ Hapward earned his 3rd win of the season saving 37 of 38 shots. The Black Bears improve to 47-6-1 with 137 points. The Black Bears will have 8 days off before playing their remaining 2 home games at the Arena vs. the Danbury Hat Tricks and the HC Venom.
