March 28, 2025 - By Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the Danbury Hat Tricks will meet tonight in Binghamton at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena for the first of a home and home series this weekend. This will be the 9th game in the regular season between the two teams. The Black Bears are 6-1-1 against the Hat Tricks this season. The Black Bears will get one of their roster spots back today with Dakota Bohn returning from suspension meaning not only the reigning Defenseman of the Year is back but so is the Black Bears 17th roster spot. Bohn brings not only his skating and decision making skills back to the team but also his 16 goals, 41 assists for 57 points. Dakota also is key on the specialty teams with 8 power play goals and 2 short-handed goals this season. The last game between the two Empire Division teams was on March 14th, with the Black Bears getting a 4-3 win, the game winning goal was scored by, Dakota Bohn in the 3rd period, the only goal scored by either team in the 3rd period. In that game the Black Bears were down 3-1 after the first 28 minutes of the game until the Black Bears scored 3 unanswered goals to take the 8th meeting of the season.
