March 21, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears are heading up to the north country today for the start of a two game set against the Watertown Wolves. The 1st place Black Bears winners of their last three games face off for the 7th time tonight against the 4th place Wolves who have lost their last two meetings. Heading into the weekend, the big news are the suspensions to Tyson Kirkby (3 games) and Dakota Bohn (2 games) in which will reduce the game roster from 18 to 16 for both games this weekend. The Black Bears had mixed appeals results with Bohn's being reduced to just 2 games, where as Kirkby's was up held. This means going into the games this weekend, the Black Bears will be playing with two less players on the ice, something the Wolves want to jump all over and get back on the winning track. The two teams last met on January 18th in Binghamton with the Black Bears securing a 4-2 win over the Wolves. In that game Cj Stubbs scored two goals in the game, Josh Fletch (out on the IR) and Cameron Clark also scored for the Black Bears in the game. The Big question for the Black Bears, who will be 1st line center? Who skates with Dan Stone on the 1st line D-pairing and with Donald Olivieri not traveling tonight, we will see more the college kids this weekend.
