March 9, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the Blue Ridge Bobcats face-off in the rubber match game in which a season series winner will be determined today with a puck drop at 4:05 PM. Friday night the Black Bears took a 7-3 win in Wytheville, with the Bobcats exacting revenge on Saturday night with a 5-2 win breaking the Black Bears 18-game win streak. Last night's game saw a little of everything from Gavin Yates and Tyson Kirkby goals, to Josh Fletcher, Dan Wieber and CJ Stubbs dropping the gloves. Yates and Stubbs both got tossed from the game as well as the Bobcats, Jakub Volf. That helped the cause for the Bobcats as they got goals last night from Hunter Godmere on the power play, Brandon Reller, Nicholas Stuckless and Justin Daly had two goals.
