March 8, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears are again back at the Hitachi Energy Arena in Wytheville, Virginia for the 2nd meeting all time between the Black Bears and the Blue Ridge Bobcats. Tonight's game starts at 7:30 PM. Last night Black Bears scored late in the 1st period with a Dan Stone slap shot at the 19:59 mark of the 1st period and that was the only scoring until the 3rd period where the two teams combined for 9 goals. The Black Bears scored 4 goals in the first 5:17 of the 3rd period from Cj Stubbs, 2 goals from Gavin Yates in a 26 second span and then a goal from Scott Ramaekers. The Black Bears scoring was rounded by Dakota Bohn and Zac Sirota who both scored on the power play. The Black Bears scored three power play goals in the game, now #1 power play in the league now in ranking and in goals with 60. The Bobcats got goals in the 3rd period from Michael Mercurio, Nicholas McHugh and Daniel Klinecky, both the McHugh and Klinecky goals were scored in the last 90 seconds of the game. The Black Bears will be going for win #19 in a row and their 40th win of the regular season tonight.
