March 7, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears have traveled the 537 mile trek to the Blue Ridge Mountains to face off in the first of three meetings this weekend against the Blue Ridge Bobcats. Tonight's game has a face-off time of 7:30 PM. The Black Bears are going for their 18th win in a row with a win tonight. They will do it with out Jesse Anderson who is away for a wedding and without Kyle Stephan who is still out with an injury. Joining the Black Bears this week is Richard Colarusso who signed with the team this week and should help give a member or two of the blue-line a night off when needed. The Bobcats let go Andrew Uturo this past week from the team but Nicholas Stuckless, who played with the Black Bears earlier this season is one of the top goal scorers on the Bobcats with 10 goals. A former Black Bear and Watertown Wolves forward, Michael Mercurio is expected to play tonight for the Bobcats. The Bobcats just recently stopped the Athens Rock Lobsters double digit win streak and look to get back on the winning path again tonight vs. the Black Bears.
