February 28, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears host the Dashers Hockey Club tonight in the first of two games this weekend with the club from Danville, Illinois. Tonight's game will be the 5th of 6 meetings between the two Empire Division foes. Though the Black Bears have 104 points tops in the league, the Dashers are last in the league with 6 points, not having the return the city and team wanted when returning to the FPHL. The teams last met on December 20th in Binghamton where the Black Bears won the game 7-1. In that game Tyson Kirkby and Donald Olivieri both had two goals for the Black Bears. Austin Thompson had three assists and Dakota Bohn assisted on 2 goals. Kyle Stephan, Zac Sirota and Cameron Clark also scored in the game. The Dashers only goal in the game came off the stick of Bohdan Zinchenko who is no longer on the team as he was traded this week to the Athens Rock Lobsters.
