February 15, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the HC Venom will face off in their 8th meeting of the season and 3rd in a row at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in the last two weekends. The Black Bears are 7-0 against the Venom coming into the game tonight and will face-off one more time in the final of the season for the two teams. Last night the team teams met in a feisty game on Valentine's Day with Black Bears Mom's and Dad's in attendance on family weekend at the Arena. The Black Bears got their 7th win against the Venom with 2 third period goals from the Captain Tyson Kirkby. Black Bears saw goals as well from Gavin Yates, CJ Stubbs and Donald Olivieri who was the lone scorer in the 2nd period and had the Black Bears only power play goal in the game. The win for the Black Bears was the teams 33rd win and 12th win in a row. With a regulation win tonight, the Black Bears secure a playoff spot.
