February 14, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the HC Venom will meet on Valentine's Day in Binghamton, NY. The two teams last met last Saturday also at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in a game where the Black Bears snuck by for a 3-2 win. The Black Bears are on an 11 game winning streak while the Venom are on an 9 game losing streak. The two teams will meet again tomorrow night also at the Arena with a special 6 PM start time. The Black Bears are 6-0-0 against the Venom this season. Notable roster notes this week: Khade Henry was activated off the IR and then signed to a Standard Players Contract. While Emerson Emery was signed to a 4 Game PTO contract for the Black Bears. The Venom placed net-minder John Moriarty on the 15-Day IR, he did not play last weekend as well. This weekend's games will have a slight somber tone to them after the loss of Binghamton Firefighter John "JR" Gaudet who passed while on duty Wednesday night after responding to a fire in Binghamton.
