Bohn Named FPHL Rookie of the Month for January February 8, 2025 | ||

Bohn played in 11 games for the Black Bears and had 6 goals, 12 assists for 18 points for the month. He started 2025 and the month of January (3rd) with his best game scoring 2 goals along with 2 assists for 4 points against Port Huron. He followed up the next night against the Prowlers with 2 assists. He also had two 3 point games, one on January 19th against the HC Venom and closing out the month (1/31) with the other 3 point game versus the Columbus River Dragons. Dakota’s 18 points in January moved him from 11 to fourth in league scoring. The 26-year-old is from Sagninaw, Michigan. Dakota was a member of the Black Bears’ 2024 FPHL Commissioner’s Cup team and was also voted the FPHL Defenseman of the Year (2023-24). Prior to joining the Black Bears he played at Adrian College (2019-23). During his senior year at Adrian he was named an All American and had the highest point total (47) for a Defenseman (2023-24). The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25. |
